Enjoy the luxury of our location in a beautiful, two hundred-fifty acre valley. Meadowood is reminiscent of a private estate in a bygone era. Gracious hospitality defines the style of service and timeless, natural beauty the sense of place.

The property features championship croquet lawns, seven tennis courts, a nine-hole walking golf course, hiking trails, swimming, a full-service health spa, a wine educator, an annual cultural affairs calendar, eighty-five guest rooms, suites and cottages and wine country cuisine.

Meadowood: Forty-Five Years of Tradition

Founded as a private club in 1964 with an unprecedented vision of what the next four decades might hold Meadowood became the original gathering place for Napa Valley's burgeoning wine growing community.

For the last thirty years, Meadowood has also served as the preeminent wine country destination for discerning travelers to the region. With classic architecture, diverse amenities and activities, and a professional staff that includes a tennis professional, golf professional, croquet professional, and cultural affairs director, among others, the experience on the estate has continued to evolve with Napa Valley itself.

Today, Meadowood expresses the authenticity of country life and brings guests and members closer to the timeless traditions of the region. The property continues to serve as the common ground for the Napa Valley Vintners as well as an integral part of the cultural and social fabric of the community.

The Meadowood Setting

Located in the heart of Napa Valley, Meadowood's character and its name come from its unique setting. Recognized as a special place for centuries for luxuries including natural protection, abundant water and fertile land, Meadowood is a place of great beauty and rare seclusion.

Meadowood
The month of February at Meadowood is dedicated to romance. Whether the sun shines or the rain falls, you'll find happiness in the company of the one you love on our beautiful, private estate.

Sneak away for a couple of well-deserved days of quiet intimacy. Enjoy a couples spa treatment side-by-side in the privacy of your guest room. Then, relaxed and scented with lavender oil, snuggle up in front of a fire with two good books, a bottle of wine and a shared ottoman. At dinner hour, call in-room dining and have a delicious meal delivered to your guest room to enjoy in front of the fire as evening settles into the forest.

The Heart of Napa Valley: When you're feeling rested and relaxed enough to leave the estate, venture into town for a leisurely walk along historic Main Street. St. Helena is affectionately known as the heart of Napa Valley and romances are born and rekindled within the town's romantic setting every day.

Beautiful old stone buildings house cozy destination restaurants, art galleries and shops filled with treasures best shopped for as a couple…from hand-crafted linens, tableware and art to diamonds, pearls and other small romantic luxuries. Taste olive oils, wines and hand-made chocolates…all without leaving Main Street. You might even duck into the Cameo theatre to catch a movie you've been meaning to see.

A day of authentic small-town life followed by a romantic Michelin two-star dinner for two in The Restaurant at Meadowood completes your Valentine getaway.

Whether you're igniting or rekindling your love this February...whenever your busy schedules allow you to sneak away for a couple of well-deserved days of quiet intimacy, romance awaits in the heart of wine country.
